Worked on the performing arts National Touring Scan with Jordan Gibbs of Culture Counts, for the Meeting of Cultural Ministers, managed by the Australia Council for the Arts.

Worked with the National Institute of Circus Arts to evaluate marketing campaigns and understand potential student motivations and barriers to application.

Worked with the City of Darebin to develop new Position Descriptions within the Darebin Arts Team.

Southern Grampians Shire: conducted a Service Review of Hamilton Performing Arts Centre.

City of Newcastle, NSW: Support for selection of a Ticketing System for venues including Civic Theatre Newcastle

Penrith Performing and Visual Arts, NSW: Audience Research and Strategic Planning

Theatre Network Australia and Arts Centre Melbourne:  small to medium and independent sector consultation

West Gippsland Arts Centre: developed evaluation frameworks and methodology to measure outcomes for WGAC’s ‘Outside the Walls’ audience development project, which included to focus groups with less frequently attending audiences.

Hamilton Performing Arts: worked with the team in Hamilton on a major Audience Research, and Marketing + Audience Development Planning project funded by Creative Victoria.

Perth Theatre Trust: Program Planning workshops with staff from State Theatre Centre of WA, His Majesty’s Theatre and Subiaco Arts Centre, and their resident companies.

CircuitWest: worked with staff from four venues in south west WA to develop Program Plans to support audience development.

Ararat Town Hall and Ararat Gallery TAMA : worked with the team in Ararat following the major re-development of the Ararat Arts precinct, researching and developing audiences through a major Audience Engagement Study funded by Creative Victoria.

Yarra Ranges Council (Victoria):  strategic marketing consultancy to review marketing methods and processes while transitioning to a leaner new marketing staff structure

Queens Park Theatre, City of Geraldton (WA): Marketing + Audience Development Planning, and a Ticketing Review

BREC (Bunbury Regional Entertainment Centre) (WA): Audience Research, focus groups to explore audience attitudes amongst less-frequent attenders; Marketing Planning support.

University of Melbourne Student Union: reviewed the Rowden White Library + Arts Programs, and Entertainment + Activities Programs

Yarra Ranges Council (Victoria): facilitated two Marketing and Audience Development Planning days; providing support to develop a written Marketing and Audience Plan

Waverley Council (NSW): worked on a Marketing Plan for Bondi Pavilion and its arts and cultural events program

CircuitWest: Keynote speaker at the WA Showcase, May 2017, presenting a three-workshop series ‘The Audience Development Challenge’, and working with regional presenters in one-on-one sessions on program planning.

CircuitWest: worked with CircuitWest on the Creative Regions Scheme 2 program, supporting development of performing arts programs and venues throughout WA

West Gippsland Arts Centre: assisted with evaluation and selection of a new ticketing system

Country Arts SA: facilitated a review of ticketing and marketing systems and procedures

RIVERLINKS Shepparton: worked with Riverlinks Management, Marketing and Box Office staff on the process of evaluation and selection of a new ticketing system.

PATA (Performing Arts Touring Alliance): providing ongoing management for PATA’s activities

Syzygy Ensemble: worked with the ensemble to develop a new Business Plan.

Manning Entertainment Centre, Taree: worked on an Audience Development Research project which includes database analysis, focus groups and an online questionnaire.

Horsham Rural City Council: facilitated Program and Marketing Planning workshops and helping write Program and Marketing Plans to support the newly developed performing arts facility Horsham Town Hall, then under construction.

Country Arts WA: developed a Venue Manager’s Handbook for CircuitWest members, focussing on Marketing, Audience Development and Program Planning.

RIVERLINKS Shepparton: worked with the team at Riverlinks on an Audience Development project involving teens and young professionals, which involves focus groups, engagement events, and evaluation using the set of Community Indicators which are in use throughout local government areas in Victoria.

Her Maj logoHer Majesty’s Theatre Ballarat: Audience Development Study  worked with the team at Her Majesty’s on audience research and marketing planning to help them better understand the Her Majesty’s audience, who they are and what they seek in their live entertainment experience. Through greater understanding, the Theatre seeks to engage more deeply with the audience, building new audiences and strengthening existing relationships.

Ausdance VIC -LOGOAusdance Vic Board Strategic Planning Day facilitation of Business Planning sessions during planning day, including reviewing goals, KPIs and strategies and conducting a SWOT analysis.

  APACA (Australian Performing Arts APACA Logo NewCentres Association):     ‘What’s My Plan?’ Program Planning workshop at the 2014 APACA Conference Hobart: presented a program planning workshop, exploring the connections between programming and audience development, including artistic vision and policies, marketing and community engagement, and the benefits of writing up a Program Plan. norpa-logo1Northern Rivers Performing Arts (NORPA): Audience Research Project: worked with NORPA to help them understand their target audience and market effectively to them using a well-researched and executed marketing and audience development plan, and to apply findings from market research to program planning for the long term.

UMSU logo University of Melbourne Student UnionReview and Business Planning consultancy: worked with staff in two business units at UMSU, to review and recommend restructures to improve efficiency and effectiveness; included comprehensive consultation process with staff and students; facilitated planning workshops and assisted in the development of a business plan for one of the units.
